Think back to when you’ve had a big event coming up.  A winter getaway. A wedding. A dinner with your ex. What is priority numero uno for the weeks leading up to it?

Dropping a dress size? Slimming down? Looking hot AF so that asshole knows from the second he looks at you that you are WAY better off without him, and he will never have a chance with you again because you are obviously WAY to good for him now and have carpal tunnel from all that Tinder swiping?….. Or something along those lines ;)

What has been your game plan in the past?  Tighten things up by cutting things out? Doing double headers at the gym?  Giving up alcohol….. Ugh… shutter. Chances are you tried at one point or another to drop a few pounds by restricting your calories.  It is the number one thing people try when going on a “diet”. Eat less weigh less. Calories in = calories out. Makes sense on paper.  But you can’t always use math to understand biology.

How does calorie restriction actually feel?

BREAKFAST IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE MEAL!

In fact, my go-to dinner whenever my husband works late is Breakfast for Dinner! I take that "breakfast is the most important meal of the day" to a whole new level!

Struggle to get in FIVE-SEVEN servings of veggies a day? You are not alone. Pumping up the veggies first thing in the morning can give you a ton of extra fiber taking one step closer to becoming a consistent pooper #lifegoals. They are also packed with mega vitamins and miner...

I know.  People have VERY strong feelings about Brussels Sprouts.  If your grandmother used to steam these mini cabbages until they were slimy soggy fart balls then chances are, you are not a fan.

So why bother with Brussels Sprouts?  Well, I am here to blow your MF'ing mind!  Brussels Sprouts taste awesome.  You just gotta know how to cook them.

These suckers are high in fiber.  Most of North American's get 10X LESS fiber then they need for health and proper bowel function (translation - good poops).  They are also a member of the cruciferous family which are basically the anti-cancer squad.  Fuck Cancer.

Here is a quick and easy recipe to get everyone at the table gobbling up these little green nutrition bullets and begging for more.

Serves 4

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Brussels sprouts (washed, ends removed, halved)

2-3 cloves of garlic (minced)

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice

dash salt and pepper
