Usually on this podcast, I am focused on teaching the physical and biological aspects of health, the reasons things are happening in your body, or the psychological neuroscience behind your behaviors. But today I’m getting a bit personal, and I’m sharing a snippet into my private life to hopefully inspire you to make some changes in your life, give your nervous system a break, and start putting way less time into getting the results you want.
Back in August 2023, my family and I moved to Costa Rica. We are now 6 months into our year abroad, and I have noticed some massive shifts in my metabolic health, appetite, nervous system regulation and anxiety. So today, I’m sharing the biggest lessons I’ve learned as a Holistic Nutritionist and hormone expert from 6 months of living near a blue zone, and how I plan on bringing some of these lessons back with me when we return to Canada.
